This weeks episode #49

The guys get together for more random discussion. They were supposed to talk about a movie that they were all going to watch but two of them are totally lame and didn’t do their homework. So, once again, they are winging it. For Scott, he finally gets the straw that breaks the old camel’s back and has to come to grip with reality. Jon leads an exciting life that leaves us thrilled with his exploits. And Dustin decides to go into the bike breeding business once his worm farming business goes under. Looks like another week in Randomland for the guys.

Episode-042 – Open The Doors

Two-thirds of the guys are back this week. Dustin and Scott survived the listener outing last week and are in the studio for some randomness. Dustin is still working hard on his trip to the hospital in his future. Scott gives up the fight and gives in. Then the Spirit of Black Friday Shopping makes and appearance. The guys talk about deep philosophical ideas on Black Friday and Christmas shopping in general.

Episode-041 – Happy Turkey Day

The guys enter Random Land again this week. Scott and Dustin get things started by going over what they have been up to. Dustin gives us another update on his drift trike while Scott is waiting to see the video of him being taken away in an ambulance. Scott finally appeases the smoking gods and gets to use him UDS properly. They talk about smoking turkeys which leads them into Thanksgiving. They go over some of their traditions and what foods are their favorites. Jon joins late and gives the podcast a real show stopping ending. Emphasis on stopping.

Episode-040 - Shartk Bait Hoo Ha Ha

The guys, well most of them, are back again. Jon is still not in the studio but does manage to make a guest experience through the wonders of modern technology. Dustin gives some updates on his ongoing projects. Scott tries to do some smoking, but is foiled again. They discuss how Halloween went for their families. Jon joins in and gives an update on what he has been up to away from work including some building projects and fish.

The guys decide to take on the random depths of moviedom this week. After they tell us about the random stuff going on in their lives, they take a shot at being screenwriters. I don’t think the Screen Writers Guild of America has much to worry about as far as their jobs go. There are a lot of weird movies out there.

The guys are back this week to enjoy everything summer has to offer including hot weather and bad air. Dustin has a dirty tree issue and Jon goes to dinner. The guys then have a discussion about all the death defying stuff they would (or most likely) wouldn’t do. Some of them are much braver than others. This might be the one show that ends up getting someone killed or put in the hospital.

Some of the guys' kids join them to discuss what is going on in their lives. Hannah, Abby, Syd, and Ethan provide the extra star power for the episode. The guys are back from a little vacation break and this week is no different, as they take random to a whole new level. Episode-019 – The Truth is Out There! Is ready for download and listening. I will include some vacation pics from this last episode.

This week the guys pick a topic that is out of this world: UFOs. After they tell us what is going on in their lives, they talk about aliens. Jon puts on his tinfoil hat to discuss some “loopy” theories. They discuss whether or not the government is covering for alien visits and what would happen if aliens did actually visit the planet. They finish off with something a little more down to earth with some Bigfoot discussion.

The guys are back this week to discuss why people hear two different things from the same input and other ways people can experience the world in different ways. Jon gets outdoors for a family excursion. Dustin helps out around the house. Dustin and Scott get some much needed refinement with the help of Dustin’s family. Scott has a busy week with soccer. Episode-013 – Honey! Wheres My Super Suit?

The guys are back again this wee with a super show. They talk about super heroes and super powers. There’s some discussion about what makes a super hero a super hero. Does someone without any super powers qualify? They then discuss what super powers they would like to have. They just need to remember that with great power comes great responsibility. The Would You Rather question this week deals with what kind of knowledge you would choose. Their mad scientist comes out as they finish with a discussion about how to improve the human race. The guys head back to the theater for next week. They will be watching Nicole Kidman’s The Invasion. Be sure to watch it so you can thoroughly enjoy their discussion of the movie.

Episode 12 is out! ​This week the guys talk about a time sensitive topic. They discuss time travel and the many different ways it is handled in various films, tv shows, and books. They discuss theory like the experts they are on the subject. Jon tries to figure out if he has a green thumb or not. Scott enjoys a Royal debut.​ Dustin talks about his win-win by helping out his neighbor. They also discuss which disgusting morsel they would rather eat.

We didn't get to post last week about episode 10 but if you wondering it was released last Thursday. We released episode 11 this Thursday and it's live.

The guys are back this week after some much needed vacation time for two of them. Scott and Dustin spent last week out of town. Dustin was in Southern Utah enjoying all the beauty that nature has provided down there. Scott was in Vegas relaxing. They did get together for one day and had some Dam fun. Jon is painting. Again. They move on to talk about one of their favorite movies: The Matrix. They talk some of the deeper philosophical implications that the movie has and try to decide if they would take the red or blue pill. The show ends with them talking about some of their other favorite movies that end with twists and turns.

Episode-009 - RGRT Game Night is now live. We were a little slow getting it published this morning but is should be showing up in all of the regular places.

This week the guys are joined by a special guest. Scott’s son Ethan joins the crew for a discussion on video games. We talk old school and new school video games. Ethan also shares with us his great triumph over his dad this past week. Dustin finally gets with the program and fulfills Jon’s wishes. Our Would You Rather question leaves the guys making hard choices about future dietary needs. We end with a more low tech discussion on gaming: board games.

On this episode, Dustin discovers fire while working on a ugly drum smoker, Jon’s diabolical plans to take over the world becomes more of a reality after creating his own destiny clan. Scott reports that raising your kids is as easy as trip to your favorite Chinese
restaurant, and eating fortune cookies. We then discuss how the guys consume media, and TV at their houses, and what they have done to cut or not cut the cord. Jon presents a Would You Rather, that’s a kick in the face. They then finish up the show with another stellar review of the RGRT Podcast approved flick Zoombies.
