Mari La Carajita is an artist, songwriter, and producer from Cumaná, Venezuela, whose music blends contemporary urban sounds with the richness of her Venezuelan roots. Growing up playing the cuatro and guitar, she developed a style that bridges tradition and modernity, drawing inspiration from 2000s pop, hip-hop, and R&B.
Over the years, Mari has collaborated with artists such as Akapellah, Los Amigos Invisibles, and Noreh, among others. In 2024, she released her debut EP GINIA, alongside producers Mario Cáceres, Yasmil Marrufo, Reggi “El Auténtico”, and Golden — a project that earned her a spot on Premios Juventud’s list of Artists to Watch.
Her latest single, “Prefiero Llorar,” introduces a new emotional and artistic side from Mari. With a rapidly growing audience and a clear creative vision, Mari La Carajita continues to push boundaries as she works toward her first studio album, set for release in 2026, positioning herself as one of the most promising new voices in Latin music.
