Though I appreciate being a winner, I realize that there are hundreds of great businesses in this city that may not have won or even been recognized at all. That in no way diminishes how well they do what they do! Winner or not, keep doing!

I look at The Best of Springfield simply as a way to highlight all of the positivity and growth happening here. Great businesses come together on one night to celebrate each other. There's no way that can be a bad thing, no matter who wins. The categories have grown and so has attendance. So much so, that it's been already sold out the past 2 years when I went to buy tickets for my people!

If you're still in business, statistics show that you're definitely a winner no matter the category or voting results. ALL WE DO IS WIN WIN WIN, NO MATTER WHAT

Fundraiser tonight at O'conners!

SPRINGFIELD, lend me your ears! Since October, I've been doing silent discos for your kids. We did Snyder Park, Roosevelt, Greenon, Kenwood, Fulton, and Simon Kenton. I tried to make it fun, but keep the music appropriate. Thank you to Camille Rucker for opening the door and Springfield City Schools for trusting DJ Chill and Not So Loud Silent Party - Silent Disco with your student's impressionable ears!
