It’s Pi(e)-Day!

And…I love 🥧…but I obsess over the crust! I have the hardest time maintaining a sturdy, pretty pie crust in my warm kitchen.

Today, I’m asking all of you for help! As we look towards the bounty that late spring and summer provide, pies will be front and center! Will you please share your favorite crust and pie recipes, along with your tips and tricks for success?

We will make and bake them and share our experiences - the tall and sturdy, as well as the flops - right here as the summer months pass. Then, in the Fall ‘24 issue, “Playing with Food” will be all about pie as we prepare for the autumn and winter meals ahead.

Let’s bake together this summer (pun intended)!
