Double jump on over to Jones Auditorium next weekend for two performances of Super Flute!, a parody of Mozart’s The Magic Flute. Take a leap back to the 1980s when Mario and Luigi were masters of the double jump and enjoy Super Flute! as performed by members of the Opera and Musical Theater Workshop in the School of Music.

On April 15 Texas A&M University- Kingsville students faculty and staff received the following email:

“It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the loss of one of our own over the weekend.

Public details will be limited out of respect to the family’s wishes for privacy at this incredibly difficult time.

Because of the nature of this tragic loss, and while the incident occurred on campus, it was evident that there was not an impending threat to campus safety, and as a result, did not require a timely warning notification to campus.

In this terribly difficult moment, I hope you will join me in keeping the student’s loved ones in your thoughts.

For those grieving or struggling with life’s challenges, please know you are not alone. We are here for you and are committed to your overall wellness. Mental health resources are available to you free of charge any time of day or night.
