All those pieces are then carted from event to event in my custom logo-wrapped turbo Passat wagon. I mention that last bit due to my last experience hiring a "local favorite" for a friend's wedding, he showed up late, in a smoking mix-matched paint early 80's van, wearing jeans and a dirty shirt, then asked me where "his" table was (he never told me that was on me) and proceeded to hand me equipment to haul for him. The system was 20 years old, the monitor a 12" black and white, 2 wired mics (badly dented) and over 30,000 songs (many foreign)...on cd, mostly scratched, several unreadable.
