We are so happy to be able to share this update with you today. Officers Brent Lovett and Kate Schwenke stopped by the station to say hello. Brent was released from the hospital this week after being in ICU. Both were taken to the hospital after being injured off-duty. They were hit by a car while helping others on the road who had been involved in a previous accident last Wednesday.

They shared with us how thankful they are for all the prayers, thoughts, well wishes and support from the community during this difficult time. They are incredibly grateful for the people who stopped to help them after the second crash and the dedicated staff at the hospital who cared for them that night and in the days that followed.

Please join us in wishing them the best as they slowly recover from their injuries at home.
