Small photo-dump from a little camera escapade to test out my new Glimmer Glass. I have always been more of a Black-Promist kind of guy, but GG is starting to take its place. It adds that nice bloom effect to highlights without adding a huge glow to brighter colors and skin-tones. 📽🎬🎞

Don't mind the dirt specks on some of the photos. I noticed it halfway through a cold and windy journey. 😅

I decided to take a more crazy and cinematic approach to my product videos, much like what I did with the Zoom H2n and the Comica VM40. So, this is the Tula microphone.

My latest cinematic review is out, if you haven't seen it! Featuring the .mics, this is the direction I will move forward with in terms of how I style my videos.

Head over to my bio for the link.

Thank you all so much for 500 subs! It's crazy to think about how this account has grown compared to my main account. Since it seems people actually like what im doing here, I plan to put more time into videos on this channel!

Many cool things to come. 🎥 🎞

Working on a new video featuring this bad-boy. It's going to be styled similar to my videos on the H2N and the VM40. I really liked doing those videos because I could inject my love for dark, thriller, sci-fi film into what would otherwise be a regular old product review video.

Stay tuned. 🎥 🎞

Well, I tried my hand at some astral photography at 2:45am today to see if I could capture the Lunar Eclipse/ Blood Moon from my backyard. Can't say the photos I took are the cleanest, but i think i captured a few that are share-worthy! 😅

Creating a cinematic atmosphere isn't just how you film the scene, how you light it, or how you color grade it. The aspect ratio of a film can also have a major effect on how a scene feels to your audience.

✨️ 4:3 (1.33) is very nostalgic and can bring about feelings of nostalgia, childhood, memories, or even claustrophobia, tightness, tension, and stagnation.

✨️ 16:9 (1.77) is probably the most commonly seen aspect ratio due to social media. Most landscape videos you watch are in this aspect ratio. It has a wider view of what's in the scene and can represent feelings of openness and wonder.

✨️ 21:9 (2.35) is one of the most common cinematic aspect ratios, especially for movies. It gives a wide-screen view and gives us that feeling of being in a cinema. It brings about feelings of cinematicness, fantasy, awe, and severity.

Whichever cinematic aspect ratio you choose for your film or videos will have an effect on its message. Get creative and try these out to see which you like best. Or, use a combination of them to convey different emotions per scene! 🎞🎥

Again, testing some different flat-lay photography! I've always liked the style of these cards. Do I actually use them for anything? No, but they look really cool. 😅

I've been trying to practice my flat lay photography for video thumbnails, lately. I really like what I see from creators like , and I think it works well for thumbnails!

I'll probably post a bunch of terrible ones before they get good, so be prepared for the mediocrity until i can get them right 😂

A small homage to the art of writing, journaling, note-taking, and stationary featuring my all-time favorite Field Notes edition "Vintage". ✒️📔

I've always been drawn (ha) to pen and paper, especially fountain-pens and a nice, quality notebook with a weakness for the leather variety. As a creator, this has been a beneficial obsession as it helps me to express my thoughts in a way that's tangible and organized (mostly). 😅

I've also been working on my cinematography a lot lately, and finding what works best as a solo-filmmaker. 🎞🎬

Additionally, I've been going for a more muted tone with my color grading more and more as of late, and honestly I'm really liking the results! 🎨
