Jones County Sheriff’s Department deputies, led by Sheriff Joe Berlin, are currently searching on foot for an adult male suspected of stealing and abandoning a pickup truck on Barnes Road off of Graves Road outside of Ellisville.
The suspect is described by residents in the area as a white or Hispanic male, approximately 5’ 7” in height, wearing a light colored shirt and blue jeans. The suspect ran on foot into and out of a residence on Graves Road shortly after abandoning the stolen pickup.
Residents in the area of Graves Road, Barnes Road and Holiday Road are asked to call 911 if they see a suspicious male matching the above description on foot in the area.
