Distant Star Pictures, is an Independent Film Company based in Chicago. It was created out of a true passion for the art, knowledge and business of film making. The company, which is under an independent label, writes screenplays, and aims to produce quality and entertaining motion pictures, short films, commercials and documentaries. We are a very passionate and dedicated team of professionals which collectively has a common goal of making highly successful films.

We have lots of interest by distributor sales agents and a Studio waiting to see it so they can pull the trigger on the next project!!

The film has been rough-cut edited and the visual effects are being worked on as we speak. I’m getting a LOT of interest from sales agents/Distributors!!
We’re filming a handful of scenes to enhance the movie and make it even better!! After it’s all said and done, this is gonna be one hell of a movie!!!

Just got word that the color correction/finishing edits on our sizzle reel for our Television series "Verräter" should be done in about 3 weeks.
After Christmas/New years we'll be able to pitch this Television series to Networks around mid January!

The first draft of our Television Bible for our TV Pilot: Verräter is completed! Working on the second draft...Looking Very exciting!!
The creative process is always fun as we continue to write the TV Bible containing the next few seasons for the TV series: Verräter.
All I can say is that the characters and their individual journey's will be remarkable. The story lines will be riveting and keep the audience at the edge of their seats!
We'll be pitching the series to the Networks by September.
