Local Lisa White, Author is sharing her children's book entitled Did You Know? "love-light" as a first in a series about the energy of love.
Its message is for the child in all of us encouraging the discovery of our divine spark, the love at our core. "I especially hope that young families will read it and practice growing their love-lights together." says author Lisa White.

Illustrated by Stephanie Rosas and written in a fun rhyme scheme pattern, the book offers two simple exercises that go along with its message.
The next two books in the series, "night sky" and "forevermore" will be joining the series soon.

The Modestan: A Photographic Portrait of Modesto, 1975 – 2015, featuring photographs by Adrian Mendoza, will be on display at the Central California Art Association & The Mistlin Gallery between February 4 and February 28, 2020.

On Thursday evening, February 13th, beginning at 6:00 pm, the gallery will host a reception for the artist. At that time, Adrian will present a slide show and lecture titled, “ : 45 Years of Photography” by Adrian Mendoza. Every picture tells a Modesto story.
