Last week, the Arkansas Department of Public Safety concluded a series of community stakeholder meetings aimed at helping Arkansas communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from mass violence incidents. Seven events were held across the state, with over 600 participants representing local, state and federal law enforcement, emergency management and educational agencies. Philanthropic, nonprofit, faith-based organizations and ambulance/hospital facility personnel were also represented.
