Autumn House is thrilled to announce that we won the 2025 AWP Small Press Publisher Award.

We would like to thank the judges, the folks who nominated us, everyone at AWP for this honor as well as the AHP community whose hard work and dedication makes our mission possible: our editors, book designers, board members, interns, volunteers, readers, and of course, our talented authors.

A big congratulations to the other finalists, Alice James and Tia Chuchu, it is an honor to be in your company, and we so respect the work that you all put out into the world.

Autumn House could not do this work without the support of our community and so thank YOU too for supporting us over the years. We look forward to celebrating with you next year in Baltimore!

Thank you, Penguin Bookshop! 🐧❤️🙏🏽

Our latest newsletter went out this morning (it's free to read and subscribe!) and features a ton of new events just added to our literary calendar: workshops, conferences, book fests, opportunities to meet and greet local and visiting authors at your favorite bookstores and libraries - and this event with Gregg Hurwitz in conversation with Littsburgh's Rachel Ekstrom Courage at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh is one of them (copies of Nemesis will be available to purchase from White Whale Books & Coffee - link for free RSVP: https://www.carnegielibrary.org/event/an-evening-with-gregg-hurwitz/)!

This another big email, so we’re keeping this intro short—but we’ve been getting a lot of emails from readers who are looking to connect with Pittsburgh’s literary community, and the good news is that we’ve been adding a ton of new events to Littsburgh’s calendar
