KBLA Talk 1580 is the first Black-owned talk radio station west of the Mississippi. Launching on Juneteenth 2021, KBLA has quickly become the go-to talk platform for BIPOC progressives. In addition every day Dominique makes history as the first Black woman ever to host a morning drive talk radio show on commercial radio in Southern California.

Thursday 1/11/24 a one mile stretch of Adams Blvd will be renamed in his honor. On Sunday the SCLC of Southern California will unveil a new annual award after him as a tribute.

Rev. Lawson will be on First Things First with me. Join us at 8A PDT.
