President Clinton Tribute to the Reverend Dr. Martha Jacobs
Millwood, NY, 9/19: President Clinton offering a humor- but also gratitude-filled tribute to the much beloved Rev. Dr. Martha Jacobs at a retirement gala marking 30 + years of her ministry, the last 11 years at the First Congregational Church of Chappaqua Hundreds gathered with outpourings of affection and to hear powerful tributes from members of Jacobs’ FCC family, and warm proclamations to her service from state Senator Peter Harckham, assemblyman Chris Burdick and from town of New Castle council members Jennifer Naparstek Klein and Holly McCall. The evening included performances from music legend David Bickler and an original song (roast and toast all in one!) performed by Temple Beth El of Northern Westchester’s Rabbi Jaffe and FCC’s Youth Leader, Jonathan Riedel. “My two Jonathans”, quipped Rev Jacobs in appreciation. Rev. Jacobs, in her own address to all attending, offered an especially moving expression of love & gratitude to her partner Pat of 45 years. #RetirementGala #RevDrMarthaJacobs

Just a thumbs up to the hard working staff and knowledgeable concierges at the Fairmont for the both elegant and welcoming “home base” from which to explore LA for… too short a stretch.
I especially enjoyed the generous treat to the day spa’s amenities—the Himalayan salt bath in particular. Wow. 🙏 Glorious! Visit https://www.fairmontcenturyplaza.com to learn more and about this must see statue too!
