Adjustments anyone?
I am getting very close to finishing Kristie's memorial portrait and I need to know if anyone, artist or not if there needs any adjustments. I have taken breaks in between working on it and don't want to over do it, make areas too dark... I'm presenting this to the faculty near the end of the month.

Beginning to block composition for Bianca's illustration. Used pink crayon for the background. Graphite for the outline then conté crayon for shading.

Grid the reference photo and work on basic structure for proportions. For some reason it looks way better in person because most of the lines are lite except for the face.

Starting a very important project. This portrait of Allie's teacher Ms. Grisez will be displayed in the preschool. She passed away unexpectedly and I wanted to do this to honor what an amazing teacher she was to Allie last year.

Hello Dudes, Chicks and in between!
This is a rough... Very rough draft of the illustration for Bianca Del Rio when she comes to Cleveland in March. I'm stumped on how to finish her body or crop more of the bottom. Used several reference pix to create composition.. Dede (dog licking nose) would be blocking her shoulder but not sure if it reads well. Just looking for opinions on what you think.

Allie & I enjoyed a beautiful fall day walking Rocky River Reservation near the marina in Lakewood. Teared up watching men fly fish while listening to ball game. Reminds me of my dad who passed in 2007 & his birthday is coming up. Made his own flies & loved Indians baseball.

April is Austin Awareness Month. Robin was diagnosed at 2 1/2. Was missing milestones, speech delayed, and a sensory seeker. It's a challenge at times when he doesn't say what he means or he keeps asking for help but doesn't say for what. He has taught me to (try) to have patience. Give him extra time to answer questions or give him compressions like being rolled up in yoga mat to help him focus and calm down. Mom shark loves you little man. I know you love me too even if it's not with words but a head bump.

Growing up I would give my grandparents an art project. In 2016 I restored a photo from their 1st date. They loved it. 💝 Opa displayed it at Gram's wake in 2018 & has it in his living room. Love how a photo can mean so much. Have a blessed Christmas everyone.

Would like opinons on watermarks. I used to have name in corner of photograph (left) but I found out that someone that I did photography for decided to crop it out to use it to promote an event without giving me credit. So I decided to watermark all over (right). But now I think it looks too tacky. What is everyone doing?
