Let’s bring these pooches home for the holiday! I would love to but have 6 animals, 5 of which are cats! 😂😂😊🙏🙏❤️

UPDATE: 5 dogs remain. If you are interested in hosting any of these dogs over the Christmas holiday thru Jan. 2nd, please complete a foster application online (link in comments), then email our foster coordinator. [email protected].
Our shelter will be closed, but she is willing to come in on Christmas Eve to help these 5 dogs get out.

Okay, we have an hour to find placement for 6 dogs for holiday foster. If you can help make this Christmas miracle happen, hop in your wheeled sleigh and come down. We are open till 6pm. We are closed Christmas Eve through 12/27.

Joey - needs a home with no children
cabbage - needs to be the only pet. Ideally Rottie experience preferred.
Max - good with respectful female dogs (no cats)
Bart - good with respectful female dogs
Kade - needs to be the only dog in a home
Gordy - needs to be the only dog in a home

Adoption Update: Rowdy
“We changed name to Axl. He is a phenomenal dog. No resource guarding, couldn’t care less about cats. Boy just wants to play 24/7
He’s learning to control the crazy. I couldn’t be happier. He is a very smart, and loving dog.”

We have many large dogs who would love an opportunity for family to call their own. We are open for adoptions today from 11am-3pm and adoption fees are $25 (with an approved application). Cannot adopt? If you are staying home this Christmas, please consider becoming a holiday foster. We will supply you with everything needed for their care. Fill out a foster application online (link in bio or comments) and our foster coordinator will be in touch to arrange for a time to meet our dogs and pick up Monday.

Are you looking for somewhere to take your Christmas tree? 🎄🎄 If so, we would love to have it!

Christmas trees provide great shelter and a cozy home for all of our wildlife in recovery. ❤️‍🩹 Our patients find comfort and safety in them.

We could use approximately 30 live trees. They need to be free of all hooks, decorations, glitter or chemical sprays.

To set up a time to drop off your tree, please call and leave a voicemail at 615-559-9453. We will call you back to set up an appointment.
