If you missed the show at the Hard Rock Northern Indiana last night then you missed one of the most underrated bands in the area Seldom Told . They never miss putting on an incredible show for their audience. Their energy on stage is infectious and Mira once again showed that she is one of the top vocalist, if not the top female vocalist in the area. Their mix of covers (I guess you can say covers. They owned those songs by the end) and originals kept the party going. You don't want to miss the next Seldom Told show. Trust me you won't regret it.

I have had the privilege to do the Toys for Tots concert for 5 years running. I repeated it through out the night on stage but I am in awe at the generosity that was displayed last night. Over the years our highest haul was 7 boxes full of toys. Which we were very happy with. Last night we ended the night with an estimate of (we ran out of boxes) the equivalent of 11+ boxes and over $600 raised.
All the performers did incredible. 3 Peace made their return to Toys for Tots and rocked. The Sharty Savalas Trio who incidentally made their band debut at Toys for Tots 4 years ago, blew the roof off.
After we fixed the roof... Miss Eliana Weston made her Toys for Tots debut and played that old country with a new twist. Amazing talent at such a young age. I had the honor to break the news last night that Miss Eliana has new original music to be released sometime in the first part of the new year. Stay tuned for that.
After Eliana came Northwest Indiana's Josie award winning country artist Nate Venturelli. Nate is another act I have had the privilege of having a front row seat to his climb. He is no where near slowing down for this star.
After Nate we turned up the Rock to a 10 with Kevin Friend and 20/20. These guys have been rocking for a lot of years together and it shows that they can live in separate parts of the country and come together and not miss a beat. Bob O'Connor has always been a big favorite of mine on lead guitar.
When 20/20 finished I thought it couldn't get crazier. Some how the sound guy found a couple more levels and Bonfire ROCKED the house. There may have been been a giant inflatable woman on stage with a bagpipe player and a half naked Angus. What a night. Thanks to Avenue 912 for their unbelievable hospitality.
