NoCo NOW! - Episode 10: Fort Collins Mayoral Candidate Forum
As the City of Fort Collins approaches Election Day on Tuesday, April 6, the community is eager to elect representatives in Districts 1, 3, 4, and 5 in addition to electing a new mayor.
Join us Thursday, March 4 from 3:30 pm to 4:20 pm as we ask questions to Mayoral candidates Jeni James Arndt, Gerry Horak, and Molly Skold on their planned policies, the changes they plan to bring to the city, and the most important issues facing Fort Collins.
The Gregory Allicar Museum of Art at Colorado State University will reopen to the public on Saturdays from 10 am to 6 pm after a brief pause in community access.
The museum has also announced “Solo Sundays” from 1 pm to 5 pm each Sunday, where single persons or single “pods” can book the galleries for solitary visitation.

Folk Duo Matt Shugert and Madeline Sprowell Shugert have announced the release of their debut duo album The Aim Was Song Friday, March 12.
The duo began working on their debut album during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in March of 2020 when Matt and Madeline spent hours in song as well as poetry. The album features elements of American folk music, bluegrass and jazz.

It’s January 2021, and the subdudes should be playing at The Armory. However, their two shows on January 7 and 8 — postponed from last June — have been canceled amid continuing virus restrictions.
But it was just what we needed to start a new year — some of that good rhythm and soul that makes up the music of the subdudes.

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected every facet of life, from work and school to social and recreation. When singer and pianist Allison Lorenzen found out that the new job she was taking in New York City was canceled in March of this year after already moving out of her home in Boulder, she had to relocate to Fort Collins where her family resides. Today, Allison offers live serenades on Instagram and is working on her music every day.
