𝙁𝘼𝙌𝙨: American Single Malt ⤵️

𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: The proposed American definition includes being made at one single distillery using 100% malted barley.

𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙢𝙖𝙨𝙝 𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙡: 80% distillers malt, 20% pale ale malt.

𝙏𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙨: Sweet and nutty on the nose with hints of chocolate and a silky and buttery finish.

𝘾𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙗𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙡 𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚: Barrel 4300, at 100 proof.

𝘼𝙜𝙚: 5 years - but this barrel was nearly 6 years old when we dumped it.

𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙩: Only at the distillery in Baraboo, for now.

HOT CIDER HAPPY HOUR, Fri 1st Dec: While we will be open during the annual Riverside Holiday Stroll this year, we are not "official" participants for the first time. On the other hand, we will be offering any visitors mulled hot cider without alcohol. For those who would like to imbibe it with spirits, however, you will need to visit the Speakeasy bar and take advantage of our Hot Cider Happy Hour to purchase it for $5.

"For this release in particular, I wanted to do something with a lot of Port influence. I like to produce big, bold, meaty single malts, so I decided to utilize several First-Fill Ruby Port casks in order to capture maximum port flavor and a deep red color. Then, to round it out, I married it with single malt finished in a First-Fill Amontillado Sherry Butt and one Virgin French Oak cask. The French Oak cask was a fun, last-minute addition that added a nice element of complexity to the final product. The end result is definitely port-dominated, but it has a nice twist due to the other casks involved." - Head Distillery & Master Blender, Murphy Quint
