Had such a great time at the Balloon Glow last night. So thankful we decided to go out Friday. Sad we missed tonight though.
Managed to capture this beautiful shot as the balloon glow was starting just before sunset.
I was flying over private property adjacent to the balloon field to avoid flying over the crowd and keep it safe.

“Adapt, Overcome, Persevere!”
I could hear at NVW saying this words as I walked back to the car really bummed to find out that the balloon launch this morning was canceled. (I get it, 100%. Not safe to fly. Just really bummed)
I woke up my 3 year old son at 5:30am and drove an hour, just to turn around and drive home. I was pretty bummed out both for myself to not get to shoot and for my son to not get to see the cool balloons. I remembered seeing a truck with a paramotor in the bed turn off the road just before the festival grounds. Hearing, Brett’s words in my head I decided to find a different adventure. We loaded up and drove over in search of the man with the powered paraglider. We found him while he was still setting up, got to hang out with him, learn all kinds of stuff about powered paragliders, and get some great shots of him.
Thanks Noah Reine for making my sons day, and allowing us to hang with you this morning.
The festival did end up setting up a few balloons, which we also would have missed if we had cut bait and headed home.
This made for a GREAT start to the day.

I really enjoyed shooting this house over the weekend. I just wish it hadn't started raining just as I started exteriors 🤦🏼‍♂️. Just over 3,200 SqFt located at 121st and Rockwell. Had the opportunity to hang with some cool cats and kittens last week... and dogs and bunnies too!!!!
We had a great time working with Animal House Veterinary Hospital in Tulsa to put together photos for their new clinic at 71st and Garnett. Our dog has followed Dr Nickle around to every practice she has worked at for nearly 10 years, and we wont trust him to anyone else.
Any guesses at what critters in these photos belong to the Slow Fade team?

Another great shot of .aycock
We hit this location at 7:15am. 2 hour drive from home. When we pulled up, you could only see a few hundred feet because of fog. We were so happy when the fog began to blow off revealing this backdrop.

Had a great day trekking all over western Oklahoma with this beautiful girl today. Testing out some outfits and locations for .aycock. Baby bump is still a little small for proper maternity photos. Plan to re-shoot once her belly is a little bigger.

Got a nice shot of Elk Ave. in Crested Bute, CO.
Went into town for dinner on the first night of our trip. Luckily got to eat while the rain blew through, and it was all over by the time we got back out to the tent. The rain maid for a beautiful look to this little “downtown” strip.

We had a great time joining in the festivities of 23rd Summer Cinema with Bethany 23 Street Businesses. We are located in Bethany, and take a lot of pride in our community. We were so happy that we got to put this together for them. Looking forward to seeing what events come to 23rd in the future, and seeing the growth and development of this community.

Had a crane try to attack the drone tonight. Had no idea it was there. Flew low and slow across the pond, and when I first saw it I thought it was just a dog in the yard... then it flew... at the drone... over the water...

The FAA has finally released new UAS Facility Maps.
They show the maximum altitude for a basic approval. The map itself is not an approval, It just gives a guide to use when requesting approvals.
This is a good step forward in helping us get easier authorizations for your shoots. Currently the only areas available in OK are Ponca City, Hobart, Bartlesville, and McAlister.

to streamline the commercial drone authorization process. The maps depict areas and altitudes near airports where UAS may operate safely. But drone operators still need FAA authorization to fly in those areas.
