About Great Sea: What is the push and pull of big water? Why does it capture the souls of so many?
Lake Superior has seen many souls. The Anishinaabe call it, “Gitchi Gami”, meaning “great sea”. It has proven to be a reality unto itself. It pulled at the heart and mind of notable Lake Superior surf pioneer Tom Blake, as well as Luke’s big water fly fishing mentor Rodger LaPentor. They connected with the lake and left their mark, like the seiche that moves water back and forth under the surface.

About Home Rivers Recycled: Growing up, fishing was second nature to Emilie Björkman. At the age of 15, Emilie fell in love with fly fishing and almost a decade later she caught the first wild Baltic salmon. She remembers that as a life changing event and when becoming a mum herself, she reflected on her own childhood — while pursuing her lifelong passion: fly fishing for salmon un the unspoiled rivers in northern Sweden.

About Sette Cama: The task was simple: as a one-man crew, travel to the African Waters Sette Cama Camp, deep in the heart of the Gabonese jungle. Using only the luggage and gear that could be carried, spend two weeks capturing the untamed beauty of the rainforest, waterways, and wildlife. The result was a no-cost short film showcasing incredible fly fishing, as well as the raw nature of a destination that inspires wonder in anglers from around the world.
