Arrived at my Columbia grad school reunion last Friday to see lots of security and this large group of pro-Palestinian student/staff protesters on campus.
Spoke to a few students on Saturday who told us NYPD had arrested 100 of them the day before and how some had been “suspended” by the school with no timeline for returning. Classes were moved online and many are unsure what will happen leading up to graduation.
Touristy things from New York City and a couple days at the alma mater… Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism… so many memories… can’t believe it’s been 20 years!
