Somehow along the way, DJ Ray Williams became DR Ray. My last DJ Ray / Sounds Great Entertainment Wedding DJ performance was back in September 2019 in Statesboro. I'm healthy and doing well. But I have been concentrating on doing what I can to help find a living kidney donor for the love of my life, my wife Tatyana Yani-Tyrrell. I am wrapping up a very successful and wonderful time of mobile DJ'ing since I rolled into Savannah, GA, in 1981. I'm still active and rocking it at Savannah Georgia's only locally owned and operated broadcast station in the market, Quality Rock, WRHQ-FM, Q105.3, as Sales Manager and part-time on-air fill-in when needed.

I want to thank all of my Brides, Grooms, and their families for trusting me with their BIGGEST Day. Also to all of my many friends who have been the providers of services for the Wedding receptions. You know who you are and I sincerely thank you all. Caterers, Photog and videotographers, Wedding Planners, and Coordinators. Transportation service providers, florists, accommodation providers, and venue site operators. Wedding Cake bakers, Bridal, and Groom clothes. Finally, I can't forget the entertainers that whom also performed along with me at hundreds of various weddings and other social events.

As my Mom said to me when she was ending her phone call to me when I was in the US Army at Fort Bragg, North Carolina ... it's not goodbye, it's so long for now.

This Saturday, June 8th, it's the annual Georgetown CSA Family Summer Picnic. It's FREE to residents of Georgetown. Lots to do... Dunk Booth, bounce houses, climbing wall, Southside Fire Department, SS EMS vehicles, hotdogs, hamburgers, chips, beverages and swimming. Oh yeah, DJ Ray will provide the tunes.

Everyone had a super time for the Wedding ceremony AND reception this past Saturday (5-4-19) at Bella downtown Savannah for Dominick and Natalie Tambon. The Tornado Watch then the 3 downloads delayed the ceremony but 45 minutes evening went well as planned. Thanks Dominick and Natalie for allowing me to host your most fun day!!

This weekend.... please don't say "Happy". This is the weekend and TODAY, May 30th, is MEMORIAL DAY, a day that all Americans should pray, reflect, be thankful, remember and honor those brave men and women in ALL of the United States of America's Armed Forces who fought for YOU & ME, lost their lives in fighting and protecting, defending our lives so that we would have the freedom (we enjoy but some take for granted) each today. God Bless our Military and the brave souls who have gone before us!!! We'll never be able to thank them in person on Earth for what they have preserved for us. Thank all of you for your attention to this show of remembrance and gratitude to my fellow soldiers.
