Life Laid Down is partnering with The One11 Studio to host our first Regional Songwriting Retreat!! 2 full days and an introduction night on Thursday full of connection with each other, writing for Jesus, and learning more about songwriting for the Kingdom!!

The last few weeks were crazy good! We got a bunch of songwriters together, wrote a few worship songs, and are in process now of producing them to release them! It is beautiful to see God cultivating a genuine and sincere collective of creatives in our area who love Jesus and love creating together. Get ready, our goal is to be releasing some of these songs by late June!

So excited to announce the release of Kahl Gillispie’s song “Good Ground” on May 24th! Kahl is a great friend of ours, and The One11 has been working hard alongside Kahl to produce this song he wrote about his journey with the Lord. We got another one! If you haven't been to a Song Share, you can ask anyone that has gone: it's a special night! Come discover new Christian music from people you may or may not have heard of. We need more space created for local Christian artists to share their music. There is so much gold in our region. Come support live music!

Woo! It’s the week of! Last time we did this people said, “man, we need to do this all the time.” Fragrance nights are awesome. They are schedule-less, directionless, agenda-less worship nights to Jesus! Musicians and non musicians, artists and non artists, painters and non painters, (you get the idea) gathering in one room to flow together in a place of sincere and heartfelt worship. With the kind of work we do, it requires some finances to be effective in what we believe the Lord has called us to do. Not only do the creatives and artists of our region benefit from what we do, but you also will have the opportunity to be receivers of the beautiful, artistic, unique, genuinely edifying expressions of worship that are released through this ministry. Creating music for the God of heaven and earth is such an amazing journey. Sometimes it’s easy to forget to slow down in the middle of the process and enjoy His presence in the middle of it. What a gift to create for the One that created us.
