Our 6 year old randomly propped Batman up in a nice pose with our copy of ‘s new book “Own Your Past Change Your Future” this morning. Even though the pose is cute and hilarious, it got me thinking DEEP… dang… Bruce Wayne had one heck of a past that he had to come to terms with. Parents shot and killed at such a young age, blaming himself for what had happened, growing into adulthood with only Alfred at his side, and even having the crippling anxiety around bats… This of course ultimately resulting in him overcoming the horrific events of his past and catapulting himself into the role of the dark knight as a force of good in the world…. So effectively, the book is a guide to understanding the psychological world around the Batman story.
