Let's talk drone safety! Anytime we put the drone in the sky, we are always safety minded. This is especially true when flying the drone around large crowds, like at this weekend's upcoming Royal Gorge Whitewater Festival! Did you know that drone pilots are required to be licensed when flying commercially? This licensing is important as aviation laws keep people safe. The Canon City Police Department held its annual "Tee it Up Fore the Blue" benefit golf tournament at the beautiful Four Mile Ranch Golf Club! It was a beautiful and fun day - even a rattlesnake wanted in on the action! Thank you to the CCPD for trusting us to capture this event.

Yesterday was extraordinary! Capturing any wedding day is an honor, but there's something extra special about getting to capture the big day of two people who you've known for years. Matt & Emilee, you are both incredible individuals who compliment each other on such a deep level. Here's to growing old together...the best is yet to come!! Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Perkins! Happy ! Class of 2025, as you start to think about scheduling senior pictures, you might be wondering whether you should book your pictures in the summer or the fall! The choice is completely yours! Wanna book in both seasons? We've got you! But if you are torn, we can give you a few pointers based on what you are envisioning!

☀ Summer weather: warm/hot, good if you aren't a fan of the cold!
🍂 Fall weather: cooler temps, the way to go if you melt in the heat.
☀ Summer colors: GREEN and vibrant!
🍂 Fall colors: reds, oranges, yellow...warmer, cozy, golden feel!
☀ Summer Activities: highlight your fav summer activities like paddle boarding or kayaking! You are also generally more available - once school starts you'll find that your senior year can be busy.
🍂 The sun goes down earlier in the day in the fall, giving us an earlier chance to grab those golden-hour shots! Fall also fills up FAST - there's only a couple more dates left in October!
