Is finally here and it's absolutely incredible! I just opened an orchestral film score session I had, through this Arousor plugin on the percussion buss just for the hell of it to see what it would sound like. It just blew my mind! It brought out so much of all the hard percussion hits so nicely while making making everything more aggressive and powerful! It's just spectacular! Thanks Empirical Labs, Inc.!!!!

AU may function on earlier systems, but will only be qualified for and supported with system minimum requirements of OSX 10.7 or higher.

4) Not Knowing How To Play To The Room

"One of the biggest culprits of bad sound is when a musician or band doesn’t know how to play to the room."

All the points in this article are spot on but this is a big one for me all the time. Bands take notice please. Try to understand that I'm always on your side and you will almost never see me giving you anything less then my absolute best to make you sound good but I can't do anything for you if you don't work with me.

Happy everyone! Had a great time running sound on an ALLEN & HEATH (official) QU24 for Solid Brass last night! Very big crowd showed up and filled up pretty much the entire lawn. People we up and dancing the entire night. Always a great time partying with these guys! Couldn't have done it without my trusty beyerdynamic North America DT770 Pro headphones!

Last nights gig doing sound for my good friends in Rogue Theory Band running a BEHRINGER X32 rack system, which is a good system for the money and being able to plug-n-play multi-track the show was a plus. Also can't run a show without my trusty beyerdynamic DT770 Pro Headphones!

These are a really great group of guys who know how to put on a great show! It also happened to be the drummer Kyle Robert Music's last show with the band as he is now on his way up to Nashville to pursue a new career as a touring musician. Good luck to you man!

Currently working on mixing some jazz band tracks but I needed some inspiration and direction and this is a great record for just that. It was recorded and mixed by the legend, Al Schmidt himself. The way he gets his mixes to sound so natural and open is incredible!

A gig from this past Thursday in Midtown Palm Beach Gardens working with Solid Brass, a 60s to 80s eight piece horn-tribute band based in South-Florida. ALLEN & HEATH (official) has made a truly fantastic digital console in the QU series. I use it all the time! It's versatile and rugged enough for touring. It's sounds great without any processing and the preamps alone. The large selection of FXs it offers including emulations of vintage units like the EMT 250 which I love, lets you create and sculpt a sound for any style group. It's also great for recording. I just used it recently to record 2 full size jazz bands (one studio and one live) and was able to stream all 24 channels straight to my Mac laptop running Pro Tools with nothing but a USB2 cable. No setup necessary; it was plug-and-play. The only thing I wish it did is let you separate the last 3 stereo aux outs into mono to give you more monitor sends. Other then that, it's a great board and you get a lot for your money. Great job Allen and Heath!
