“Ideas and Opinions” on the concept of mystery
Einstein’s worldview in his autobiography book illustrates how he views concepts, societies, individuals, and everything in between. As for his view on the “The World As He Sees It” he states that human life is so brief “for what purpose he knows not…But without deeper reflection one knows from daily life that one exists for other people”. Einstein's beliefs regarding humanity stay in the realm of sociological and scientific approach for human life having a purpose. He views the individual's purposes as a means of supporting the greater good of humanity. Yes, this is an autobiography dated 88 years-ago in 1931, yet the overall ideals presented hold true as a summary of society. Einstein then goes on to describe how “The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious”. I will summarize what this means as a journalist coming from one of the greatest scientists of all time. He, as a theoretical scientist, questions the unknown dilemmas regarding life. In his case, he questioned the physics of the universe with his equation on special relativity and how “mass and energy are the same physical entity” (Britannica). Yes, he is a hardcore laboratory type of scientist yet he speaks in the autobiography as a man in European society firstly. If I could ask him about the probability of wolf-men/werewolf/dogman creatures lurking in the forests of the Earth he might call me foolish or on the cusp of something yet to be unveiled by scientists/journalists alike.
