We just added a legit talent to the creative team.

Welcome Devon.

He’s a designer with real experience and a strong eye.
Clean visuals, smart choices, solid instincts.
The kind of work where you look at it and immediately think,
“Alright… this guy knows what he’s doing.”

He’s been building his own brand, Lorv, for the last few years working with real clients and delivering real results.
That kind of experience hits different than the typical designer track.
You can feel it when you talk to him.

What we like even more is his energy.

Curious. Hungry. Zero ego.
He wants to grow.
He wants to sharpen.
He wants to be part of a team that pushes the work forward.

That attitude matters here.

Pumped to have him and pumped to see what he creates with us.
Welcome to Cyclone, Devon!

"This week usually forces me to slow down for a minute and look at the people who have been carrying real weight this year.

Two guys deserve a spotlight.

First up… Ryan.
Some people unwind by playing video games.
Ryan unwinds by reorganizing ClickUp for fun.
I swear he looks at a broken workflow the same way a five-year-old looks at Legos.

He’s been here for not even a full year
and he rebuilt our entire marketing operations foundation.
Account management. Project management. How work moves. How communication flows.
All the stuff that keeps client delivery smooth instead of chaotic.

He didn’t tweak it.
He didn’t “optimize” it.
He tore it down and rebuilt it stronger.
And even though it’s still a work in progress, it already feels night and day better.
You can feel it in every account we touch.

Then there’s Wes.

Wes has been back for just over a full quarter
and the creative department already feels like a different world.

His background speaks for itself
brands built from scratch
campaigns for national names
work on major platforms
creative instinct that is just unfair.

But what stands out most is how he leads.
Better structure.
Better ex*****on.
Better standards.
And this is the crazy part…
we’re just scratching the surface.

A lot of the past few months has been rebuilding the systems, the team, the workflow, the consistency.
Once that foundation is locked, the creative output we’re about to produce is going to be insane.

These two were a massive part of leading Cyclone through the best revenue year in our history.
By a lot.
But the wild part is how new this leadership core still is.
It feels like we’re just now getting the real version of what this place can be.

Our whole team is the reason we’re here.
But every team needs a few people who carry a little extra weight when things get chaotic.
Ryan and Wes did that this year.
They made the company better in very real, measurable ways.

Grateful for them.
Grateful for the whole squad.
And fired up for what is coming next.

Let’s keep going."

The office looks like we lost a bet with an Amazon delivery driver.

Boxes everywhere.
Chairs stacked to the ceiling.
People working like it’s a pop-up coworking space inside a furniture warehouse.

But it’s all on purpose.

We are rebuilding the entire Cyclone office from the ground up.
New space.
New flow.
New energy.

…stay tuned 👀

QBR day.

The part of the job nobody posts about... long talks, tough questions, and real planning.

This is where strategy actually happens.

Where we tear down campaigns, dig through data, and figure out how to make the next quarter stronger than the last.

It’s not creative shoots or flashy ads, but it’s the heartbeat of everything we do.

Proud of this team for caring this much about the details.
That’s what separates good from great.

Just finished reviewing data from our last 6 studio shoots vs lo-fi sessions and it’s honestly fascinating.

Everyone loves to argue “studio vs lo-fi,” but the truth is they win at different parts of the funnel.

Here’s what we’re seeing across both paid and organic:

Studio content (high production):
• Hook rate (scroll-stop in first 1.5s): 21%
• Hold to 50% view: 64%
• Average watch time: 11.2s
• Brand recall surveys: up 37%
• Assisted conversion lift (view-through): +28%

Lo-fi content (handheld, casual):
• Hook rate: 38%
• Hold to 50% view: 47%
• Average watch time: 7.9s
• Click-through-to-landing: +62%
• Cost per add-to-cart: down 34%

Translation:

Studio builds authority. It makes people believe in the brand.
Lo-fi drives action. It makes people act on it.

The smart move isn’t choosing one....it’s using both intentionally.

Studio content earns attention and sets tone at the top of the funnel.
Lo-fi creative capitalizes on that trust further down.

One builds the world.
The other moves product through it.

Stop arguing about which is “better.”
Start tracking where each one wins.

A few weeks back we’re in the middle of a content sprint. Projects flying, calendars packed, everyone moving fast. Someone says, “We really need another heavy hitter on the organic team.”

Enter Sarah Bodkin.

She jumped in like she’d been here for months. No warm-up, no easing in, just straight to work. Within days she was running projects, throwing out great ideas, and instantly making the team better.

Sarah’s worked in social with brands before, so she gets how this world moves. She’s quick, tuned-in, and has that sense for what’s worth posting and what’s not. She knows how to keep things real, high quality, and on brand.

Outside of work, she’s a yoga instructor here in Fort Wayne. Which makes sense. She’s calm, centered, and somehow still moves at full speed.

She’s sharp, kind, and the definition of a team player.

We’re lucky to have her.

Wes is back.

And if you know Wes, you already know how big that is.

This isn’t “cool, we hired someone.” This is we just brought back one of the best creative minds in the game. Period.

Wes has built brands from scratch, led teams across industries, and created work that’s been seen on ESPN, MTV, the NBA, NFL, MLB…you name it. But honestly? That’s not even the impressive part.

The impressive part is this:
He makes everyone around him better.
He’s the guy who will push you, challenge you, call you on your sh*t…
and still be the first one to hype you up when you win.

This is family. This is the standard.
Let’s get to work.

Say hey to Gunnar. New(ish) Organic Specialist who somehow manages to bring fresh ideas, energy, and chaos in the best way possible.

This isn’t his first time with us. He started as a high school intern back at Leo and now he’s back for college credit, stepping up and making things happen.

He just gets it. Social, culture, branding... how it all connects. He’s still learning how to turn that into great work for clients…and he’s doing an awesome job.

Also yes, that’s a hat. And a coney dog. The man bleeds Fort Wayne.
We’re pumped he’s back.

Some people ease their way in...
Amelia showed up and made herself useful immediately.

No overthinking. No waiting around. Just real initiative, good ideas, and a calm confidence that made it clear she was here to contribute.

She’s officially joined us as an Organic Specialist, and she’s already become a core part of the team.

Her background is in psychology and social work, but her instincts are built for marketing. She understands people. She understands content. And she’s constantly thinking about what makes something worth paying attention to.
She brings clarity, drive, and zero ego.

She’s thoughtful, reliable, and genuinely great to work with.
We’re lucky to have her... and excited for what’s ahead.

Wait… we’ve never posted about Tim?!

Not that he’s brought it up. Ever. Loudly. Multiple times. 🙃

But when you spend all day behind the camera crushing photo and video for Cyclone, it’s easy to forget the guy’s been here almost a year now. So we finally forced him in front of the lens.

This is Tim. Content specialist. Production artist. Hustler. Grinder. One of the most locked-in creatives I’ve been around.

Before Cyclone, he was out building his own thing. Freelancing, traveling, working with some badass brands across the country. He’s scrappy. Resourceful. He’s made a name for himself by just outworking everyone in the room.

But what really sets him apart isn’t just the creative skills. It’s the way he shows up.

He actually cares. He wants the work to be great. Wants to be great. And more than anything, Tim’s just a guy you want in your corner.

So yeah… we finally gave him a little spotlight. You earned it, Tim.
