Town in Conflict School Day
9am—4pm
Participate in Town in Conflict at Historic Washington State Park with your school group. Turn back the clock to the years of the war and see a town engulfed in a war that put brother against brother. Washington and Hempstead County alone raised eighteen companies to serve in the Confederate Army. Follow the map and tour the various stations provide that discuss the many aspects of life affected by the Civil War. Reservations are required; contact the park for more information at 870-983-2684.
$5.50 for ages 6+
