However, the enemy of our souls and our own choices lead us down a path of seeking belonging elsewhere, causing us to lose sight of our true home. So many times when praying I pray for God to “give”, “open”, “move”, “set free”, “heal”, “answer”, etc etc but recently in intercessory prayer, my husband didn’t pray like that. He prayed that this person would RECEIVE what was already paid for and freely given.

Mind you, that’s not a new concept or even a prayer I haven’t prayed before but for this week, it was a fresh revelation of truth you may need too.

I pray we receive the joy of our salvation, the fire of our anointing, the compelling or our calling, the strength of His might, the peace of His gospel, love for the unlovable, a heart of flesh tor a heart of stone, His easy yolk; revival, surrender, healing, freedom, deliverance, compassion, and shameless audacity to be the light.

Ruts are not formed over one single trek. They can be made by traveling the same unproductive path for some time. At first there is a dullness that begins to replace the sharp edges of our spiritual being. Not in all areas of course, but that’s why we continue. And not all at once. But before we realize it, our spiritual wheels are turning in all futility.

This is something we have experienced, oh so many times and want to encourage you with our testimony!
