Well the drum recording tests with a SM57 duct taped to a garden hose, a SM58 pointed at the drummer's crotch, and moving blankets all over the kick drum with an Audix D6 in the kick port were a total success! Now on to doing weird guitar recording stuff =]

Due to current world events, Nowhere will be delaying the opening of the new studio until things get better. In the meantime, I'd like to do some collaboration projects (through e-mail of course). Any musicians interested in some free musical fun?

Experimenting with rerouting different outputs from my GGD tracks into a weird amount/order of plugins, then summing three different recorded combinations in to a single track to get really gnarly drum sounds! The first sounds are what I ended up with, the second sounds are the original drum beat. =]
