The Voice of Prophecy (VOP) is an evangelism ministry on the cutting edge of reaching contemporary society, using the latest technologies to share God's timeless Word. We were founded in 1929 and are headquartered in Loveland, Colorado.

How We Do It
We have two flagship programs that run weekly episodes: Shawn Boonstra's TV show AUTHENTIC and our kids' audio drama DISCOVERY MOUNTAIN. Both are 100% free and can be heard on radio and TV stations across the U.S. and Canada, at vop.com and discoverymountain.com, and as audio-on-demand and via most podcast platforms (YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Stitcher, Spreaker, etc.). Supporting local church evangelism is central to VOP's work. H.M.S. Richards Sr., a Seventh-day Adventist minister, pioneered the use of radio to present the Gospel over 90 years ago. He founded VOP at a time when many of his colleagues thought the new device was the devil's playground. Today, Shawn and Jean Boonstra continue VOP’s legacy of sharing the Good News through new and innovative technologies. VOP Team Lead
In June of 2013, Shawn Boonstra was elected the ministry’s new speaker/director. Prior to this assignment, Shawn served for seven years as speaker/director for It Is Written Television, presenting its telecasts and daily online devotional messages, as well as conducting dozens of major Bible-based series on every continent but Antarctica. These included Phoenix, Portland (Oregon), Los Angeles, and Rome, Italy. A prolific writer, Shawn has authored more than 17 outreach-oriented books.
