Happy Red October! Washington Township resident and former Philadelphia Phillies general manager, Ed Wade, was honored earlier this season during Citizens Bank Park’s 20th-anniversary celebration for his significant contributions to the team's success and lasting impact on the game of baseball. Ed played a pivotal role in drafting many of the standout players who helped the Phillies secure the 2008 World Series championship.
