So it ended up being a much simpler project lighting this interview of Catherine Ann Wilson from Stop Trafficking US. It was outside, so the only thing I had to do was block out the sun beaming through the trees onto Catherine's face. So I flew a giant diffusion panel up in the air, and presto... nice even lighting.

Now that the thunderstorms have passed, I can fire up the editing workstation and get back to work. Today I’m working on a project for Stop Trafficking US. It’s also a good reminder that it’s Internet Safety Month. The fastest growing area of child exploitation is online. If you don’t already follow Stop Trafficking US, I highly recommend you do, they post news and information multiple times a day.

What do you do when the AD decides he wants a jib shot and there's no jib?
Improvise!! Rigged up a Kupo baby boom pole on top of a Kupo master combo stand, hung a Sony A7 IV on a DJI Ronin S off the end and went for it! Big shout out to Kupo for making stout grip equipment!!

Just wrapped up the final edit of the concept trailer for One Girl's Story. It will be a documentary of the life of Catherine Ann Wilson. Her story of s*xual abuse as a child, being s*x trafficked as a teen and going on to recover and bring the fight back to the front line to do her part to prevent this horrible practice from affecting anyone else. Almost done transferring all the editing software/licensing to the new system. This was a huge spend, but the performance is well worth it. Big shout out to ORIGIN PC for the workmanship they put into building these systems... Even the my UPS guy said he was shocked the wooden crate made it through their system undamaged!! P.S. If anyone at Fully knows how I can mount this bad boy to my desk since the old PC stand won't accommodate its girth, let me know. It kinda sucks not having it attached to the desk so I can raise it into standing position!!!
