How well do you think most doctors communicate when emotions are running high?

In episode 10, Dr Jared Rubenstein - a paediatric palliative care physician - shares his experience and insight on how to have difficult conversations in healthcare and how we can look after ourselves during and after difficult events.

We talk about the importance of addressing barriers to strong team work and compassionate communication, and discuss the brilliant videos Jared has created to teach this.

Meet Dr Ashiq Zaman, our guest for Episode 3! ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​💛 Ashiq is an occupational medicine physician and a regional medical director working in the oil and gas industry in the Houston, Texas area.

💛 Prior to finding his passion in occupational medicine, he began his medical career as a resident physician in Neurology.

💛 While working through his decision to change medical specialties, Ashiq decided to explore an interest in clinical process improvement and administration, and he returned to graduate school in Oklahoma to pursue a master's degree in healthcare administration.

💛 He counts this as one of the best decisions as he met his now wife while returning to graduate school.

💛 Ashiq later completed his residency in occupational and environmental medicine in Texas prior to beginning his practice in that specialty.

💛 He now lives with his wife and their mischievous cat in the North Houston area.

Meet the hosts of the Fully Well Doc Pod!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Dr Natasha Holmes is a London based locum paediatric doctor and coach.

⭐️ She is a mental health advocate and writer and an ambassador for the doctors’ mental health charity

⭐️ She is passionate about using her skills as a coach and a workshop facilitator to help healthcare professionals and others acknowledge where they are now and transition into becoming conscious architects of their own lives.

⭐️ Natasha has been based in London since 2009. She loves travelling, jumping off waterfalls and doing yoga. When she's not working or doing one of those things she assumes her true form of a couch potato and can be found at home binge watching anime & Korean soaps.

Emily Fulleylove is a health and wellbeing coach and former doctor.
