Show ready for the annual AALC Summit. Another hybrid event with 500 live and 200 virtual, over 30 speakers and presenters live and virtual, Q&A, slides, videos. Could not have done it without an outstanding crew of more than 25 show technicians and a dozen more for set up.
What starts out as a straightforward event has turned into a hybrid with 9 virtual presenters, 12 local presenters and a lot of last second slide changes and additions. It takes a good team to make this happen and I’m proud to say we have some of the best people in the business.

Today we take a trip to Texas for a Pharmaceutical Ad Board Production. A hybrid event with in person and virtual presentations, recording and transcription. We’ve done several of these types of events this year. It’s important to make the client feel confident and trust their producer to make it happen so they can focus on the information and not the tech.
The importance of having a good producer to do a site check & to be on site - even for what may seem to be a simple meeting - cannot be overestimated. We were brought on about a week before this meeting in New Orleans. The client had already booked the meeting rooms with the hotel event manager. That EM did not ask all of the questions needed and did not include space for A/V. We arrived early to check out the rooms and finalize set up and found the rooms to be too small to accommodate a screen/projector, speakers, a FOH table and a small stage and confidence monitors. Working with the hotel, we ended up moving rooms (and we were fortunate they had them available) and having the meeting in a more appropriate space for a productive meeting.
