Coming soon in our February issue! Did you know there are a couple of chocolate makers on top of Queen Anne? Seattle's food scene brought them together, and now Callie and Will are growing their own craft chocolate company from their backyard kitchen.

Our October issue lists local pumpkin patch farms open for hayrides, corn mazes and lots of fall fun! If you're heading to a pumpkin patch this month, tell us, what's your favorite Washington pumpkin patch and why?

Many thanks to our business sponsors AND to your neighbor Rocky Salskov for sharing his story that led him to L.A. and then back home again to Seattle. Hope you enjoyed the read!

One of my favorite features in Queen Anne magazine is our Kid Corner. In February's upcoming issue, we talk to kids about the topic of inclusivity. We asked them, "What does it feel or look like to be included?" Here were some of the submissions. Aren't they great?!

Our next topic is "Different," and our question is, "What is something about you that is different from everyone else?" Remind your children that without differences, our world would be super boring!
We are looking for art, poetry, rap, prose from Queen Anne kids ages 3-12. Send your kids' entries to [email protected] by February 10th to be included in our March issue.

I’ve seen this man around town selling papers since we moved to Seattle years ago. Rain or shine - mostly shiny rain - he’s out there working hard selling Real Change papers. He’s been homeless for 17 years and sets up camp in Queen Anne.

I was honored to sit with him for a few hours this week and get his story, read his poetry, and to hear what he loves about life in Queen Anne. If you see him in the neighborhood, please buy a paper from him. It’s his entire livelihood. He keeps all the money. You can meet Walter in our upcoming February edition.
