Once Lost Ministries Encouraging the Christian to reach out to where we once were! Titus 3:3

Our Mission:

The purpose of Once Lost is to encourage those that were (once lost) in their sin to reach out with the saving message of the Gospel to those that still are. "For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another."

The golden calf incident was not merely the worship of a false god. It involved a complete rejection of God's holiness through pagan practices that included revelry, sensuality, and spiritual unfaithfulness. Throughout Scripture, idolatry is often described as spiritual adultery or harlotry because God's people were abandoning Him for false worship. The golden calf stands as a warning that false worship often leads to moral compromise and rebellion against God.

A simple way to understand panentheism is the pie metaphor. In this view, God is the pie and creation is part of the pie. Everything exists within God and is viewed as an extension of His being. But Scripture teaches that God is distinct from His creation. He is present everywhere, yet He is not the universe, nor is the universe part of Him. Understanding the difference is essential for biblical discernment.

What if every conversation, comment, and private word you spoke was played back for the world to hear? Scripture reminds us that we will give an account for every idle word. That truth should humble us, drive us to repentance, and remind us of our need for God's grace. May our words reflect the character of Christ and point others to Him.

Many Christians view yoga as simple exercise, but its roots are deeply connected to Hindu spirituality and religious practice. Documents and advocates have openly discussed introducing yoga into churches as a bridge between Eastern spirituality and Christianity. Believers should exercise discernment and test every practice against Scripture. The question is not whether something feels beneficial, but whether it aligns with God's truth.

A growing trend in worship music shifts the focus from Christ's literal resurrection to our personal experiences and feelings. While spiritual growth is real, the heart of the Gospel is that Jesus Christ physically died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day. Worship should exalt what Christ has done, not center on us. Discernment matters, even in the songs we sing.

Before walking away, pray, open the Scriptures, and speak the truth in love. Many believers see compromise in churches but never try to engage biblically. Stand firm, be gracious, and point people back to God’s Word. Sometimes reform starts with one faithful voice willing to lovingly speak the truth.

The Bible is God’s Word given to reveal who He is, expose our sin, and show us salvation through Jesus Christ. It is our truth, our guide, and our authority in a world full of confusion. The Bible doesn’t just inform you. It points you to eternal life through Christ.

Israel’s survival is one of the greatest proofs of God’s Word. Scattered across the world, hated by nations, and attacked throughout history, yet Israel still stands exactly as the Bible said. No other nation has survived like this. God keeps His covenants, and His promises to Israel are still true today.
