Once Lost Ministries Encouraging the Christian to reach out to where we once were! Titus 3:3

Our Mission:

The purpose of Once Lost is to encourage those that were (once lost) in their sin to reach out with the saving message of the Gospel to those that still are. "For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another."

We'll be diving into an awesome conversation about whether or not Roman Catholicism and the Pope are actually in the Bible.

In this powerful conversation, Flynn Huseby of Once Lost Ministries inteviews James Fire of The Truth Under Fire to unpack Flynn's in-depth article, “How Readest Thou?” Together, they explore how unchecked presuppositions distort Scripture, how false teachings subtly infiltrate the church, and how to rightly approach God’s Word with humility, discernment, and a Christ-centered mindset. This is not just a theological discussion—it’s a call to walk in the Spirit and to return to the sufficiency of God’s Word. Don't miss this spiritually sharpening interview!

In this extended Bible study, Flynn Huseby of Once Lost Ministries dives deep into John 15, exploring how the “vine and branches” imagery connects with themes of fruitfulness, abiding, and genuine faith. Drawing also from Matthew 3, First Corinthians 3, First John 2, and more, Flynn wrestles with questions like:

What does it mean to “bring forth fruit worthy of repentance”?

Are branches that do not bear fruit ever “cut off” or “thrown into the fire”?

What differentiates being “in Christ” from abiding in Him?

How should Christians think about assurance, growth, and God’s faithfulness?

Flynn argues that much of this teaching addresses sanctification and spiritual growth rather than—strictly speaking—salvation. His perspective offers a balanced tension between growth in Christ and resting in His finished work. Whether you're seeking clarity on eternal security, perseverance, or living as a disciple, this teaching is meant to challenge, comfort, and stir you deeper into Christ.
