What's New In 2024!
While we are trying hard to keep up with industry standards we find sometimes we get a little behind, but all of that is changing in 2024. We are looking to implement our own servers sometime this year and it will not affect your stream at all, as a matter of fact, it will enhance it greatly as we make the transition.
Last year and in years past we spent a lot of time on login services with clients. And though we do log in with you in regards to the streamside and make sure your system and ours are on the same page when it comes to the stream, we found that 90% of the logins we did were not stream-related. Often we were found cleaning computer systems, locating files, backing up files that were not related to the streams, etc,... Sixty percent of those logins were non-pay. Beginning this year in 2024, logins not directly related to activities involving the control panel, or vMix Software will be assessed a fee of no less than 20.00 for the first hour of service. Sorry, but a laborer is worthy of his hire, is he not?
We will be bringing back The Way Network beginning in the spring of this year. We shut the site down in September due to a lack of support, not from the viewers, but those who wanted to be on the program list, but wanted it for free. I wish that I could do it all for free, and give all the space away, but it is not possible at this time. When it does come back, all submissions must be ready for air. Any editing done on our end will be billed.
Did you know that you can geo-target your streams? You can actually choose to block a certain area from receiving a live stream on your system. This is a very effective way for concert promoters to do live streaming of a concert without fear of losing attendees in the local areas.
