▪️She BAM!
📍Leipzig
⚡️ VOLTA Gallery Spotlight

Part 05 of our VOLTA NY 2022 rewind series shines a light She BAM! () and the solo presentation of Theresa Möller ().
“When we are a visitor to the forest, we have the opportunity to activate our senses in unforeseen ways. Forests are symbioses of different material forces, including plants, trees, insects and other species, which both influence and shape each other. The relational dynamics between each force is important for the coexistence of the forest as a whole. It is a vibrant space, defined by its harmony in the chaos. The forest therefore can never be one-sided, and cannot be perceived from one perspective. Like the complexity of the forest, Möller’s works offer a similar perceptual experience that mimics the multi-layered structure of it.”

⚡️ VOLTA Gallery Spotlight

Part 04 of our VOLTA NY 2022 rewind series shines a light on Kouri + Carrao Gallery () and the solo exhibition of Jen Pack (.pack.art) that weaves a thread between light and dark and masculine and the feminine as woven by string.

“This particular body of work is dark when you first approach it. And then as you further examine the pieces, Pack’s sophisticated color exploration becomes evident – and then hope presents itself as a theme. Much like the re-emergence of humanity from the pandemic, Pack’s work has a striking silver lining emanating from the darkness. In fact, the threads spill into the frame (and on occasion, out of the frame), saturating the color.”

▪️INDA GALLERY
📍Budapest
⚡️ VOLTA Gallery Spotlight

Part 02 of our VOLTA NY 2022 rewind series shines a light on INDA Gallery () presents three perspectives in the distinctive works by Zsófia Schwéger, () Rita Süveges () and Matthias van Arkel ()

Through their visual universes to be discovered here, with the aesthetics they create for us to connect to and share, all three artists reconnect us, their audience with aspects, senses and ideas of the world that were temporarily lost or overcast by the pandemic. Collecting these works, placing them in one’s personal space (getting connected to them), is like collecting fitting together the tiles of a mosaic that was once our world and will now inevitably come together in a new design, yet to be shaped, yet to be discovered.
