A busker named Henry Facey is on a freezing London street playing his usual set for people as they pass by. He was coming to the end of his set and decided to play his final song before heading inside to warm up. Henry chose to play the 1969 hit "Handbags and Gladrags" and just as he's about to sing, out of nowhere, Rod Stewart himself steps from the crowd and asks for Henry's microphone. Although he was stunned, Henry handed over the microphone and the pair created a little bit of musical magic on the streets. Passers-by start to notice Rod's unmistakable husky voice and rush over to listen. Concertgoers pay a fortune to hear Rod Stewart sing, and here he was giving it away for free in Piccadilly Circus.

During an Adele concert Emma Thompson asked her, "when you were younger, was there a person who supported or inspired you?". Adele instantly started speaking about a teacher named Ms McDonald saying, “she was so bloody cool, so engaging. She really made us care and we knew that she cared about us.” Not knowing that Ms McDonald was in the room, the star continued to explained why she admired the teacher so much. Emma then dropped a hint that something special was about to happen, and Adele started looking around as Ms McDonald walked up to the stage. The look of happiness, surprise and emotion on Adele’s face when she saw her childhood teacher really said it all as the pair hugged onstage before Adele teared up with happiness at the unexpected reunion. After the tears, Adele needed to fix her makeup resulting in an impromptu performance from Alan Carr whose ad hoc stage performance was something special.

In 2018, Toby Keith joined Blake Shelton on stage at the ACM Awards to sing “Should’ve Been A Cowboy.” Fans were thrilled as it was the first time in years that Blake had been invited to perform on the annual awards show. Anticipation grew after it was announced that the “Austin” singer was going to team up with Toby Keith for the performance. The pairing was part of a series of “ACM Throwback” collaborations that paired current stars with country icons to celebrate songs released in 1993. The two had the entire crowd on their feet during their performance of Toby's "Should've Been A Cowboy," and many of the other artists could be seen singing along. The audience laugh and she adds, "I was always wondering, can I write a song about this?... What angle would I take... So I decided the most fun thing to do would be to imagine what my life would be like, and what people would say about my life, if I did all the same things, but if I was a man". After adding this context, she then played her hit song "The Man" acoustically and landed 20 million views.

Taylor Swift sits at her piano and begins playing Robbie Williams' "Angels" in Wembley Stadium. After the first verse, the man himself rises from a platform under the stage and takes over the lead vocal making the crowd go crazy. Robbie's voice is in fine form as Taylor shouts to the crowd, "Can you believe Robbie Williams came to surprise you?". The crowd were so pumped by the end of the song that their singing was so loud they drowned out the superstars in a very special stadium duet.

Ed starts playing the intro to Eminem's hit song "Lose Yourself" to a packed stadium show in Detroit. After he sings the first verse, something very special happens. A singer's audition went horribly wrong when Simon Cowell stopped him singing halfway through his performance. The singer looked despondent that he had blown his big break. However, Simon threw him a lifeline. Simon suggested a song more suited to his voice. Brendan admitted he didn’t know the song, so he was given a few hours to learn it. When Brendan returned to the stage, nerves were written all over his face. He started to sing and promptly fluffed it. In a rare moment of kindness, Simon brought him a glass of water and told him to go again. Next, he reminded Brendan that if he didn’t hit the big note it would be a disaster. An 11 year old called D'Corey walked on stage for his America's Got Talent audition and shattered the expectations of viewers. Dressed in a light grey suit, D'Corey introduces himself and starts singing "Open Arms" by Journey. At the start, his voice sounds sweet and what you might expect from a talented 11 year old singer, but when he gets to the chorus everything changes. He belts out the chorus with a vocal tone so rich that it got the entire audience on their feet. After his performance, Simon Cowell asked the young singer to sing a capella without the backing track. Somehow his isolated vocals were even better and prompted Simon to give the young singer a standing ovation.

A 2 year old called Hugo pulled off a talent show audition that would go down in history. Before Hugo was carried on stage by his father, the audience were asked not to applaud in case he became overstimulated and unable to perform. This created an air of uncertainty when the young chap was placed at his drum station. The tension grew as the crowd wondered how much talent could a 2 year really have? The six-year-old saw the public piano surrounded by glum faced travellers in the airport lounge and decided to play an impromptu performance of Chopin. A video captured on a mobile phone shows her surrounded by luggage and harassed members of the public rushing to their gates and the shops. Two brothers walked on stage for an audition that would shock Simon Cowell and empower the Autistic community simultaneously. Nate and Gabe, The Brown Brothers, are both US Navy veterans and also on the Autistic spectrum making performing on stage "terrifying" for the duo, however, their act is something quite special. Gabe is a fantastic singer and an even more impressive impressionist meaning he can mimic voices almost perfectly. The duo performed a musical medley of different songs in different voices including Kermit the Frog and Simon Cowell himself. Afterwards, Judge Heidi Klum asked Simon if anyone had ever done his voice so well. Simon replied, "No, actually, no, it was crazy. That was incredible, extremely close. Frightening."
