The “Great Lake Fire” that has been burning since Wednesday evening at the Croatan National Forest is now at 35,000 acres wildfire near my home. It presented a stunning opportunity, a red sun! The blanket of smoke covered the sky and the sun into a fiery red globe, which could be looked at through the naked eye, although not for too long. To me, this was an opportunity to catch those sun spots! Can you spot all three?

A few weeks ago I was hired to create aerial imagery of a property (land) at Charlie Rd, Arapahoe, NC. The property is located in the high elevation community of the Bluffs near Neuse river, but it is not in flood zone. Quiet, secluded community located just 5 minutes from the Minnesott Ferry giving access to beaches, shopping and restaurants and 30 minutes to New Bern for shopping and Medical facilities. It was a pleasure to shoot interior, exterior and drone footage at 104 Durwood Ct for realtor Krystal Parmenter. It is a 2100 sq ft of living space, great outdoor space for entertaining to include fenced back yard for privacy, screened back porch with deck to the pool, back patio, a spacious front porch and large 2 car garage in a great neighborhood. It wont last long.
