Suzhou Gardens|Chinese Garden in LA's Huntington
I have vivid memories of visiting Suzhou Gardens when I was younger, so I was pleasantly surprised to find a perfect replica of a Chinese garden in LA. There are lotus flowers blooming in the small lake, and the branches of the willow trees by the broken bridge sway in the wind. It's definitely worth a visit.
【Travel Tips】
Huntington is quite large, and it's difficult to explore everything in just one day. It's recommended to go early. There are tour vehicles available for those who have difficulty walking. You can bring your own food and water as the food inside the park is more expensive. Plan your route in advance.
【Free Admission Tips】
Free admission is available on the first Thursday of every month (tickets are released one week in advance). Set your alarm and be ready at the computer by 8:55 to grab the tickets. During the summer, it gets crowded, and it may be challenging to secure tickets. Fortunately, I was lucky this time.
【Parking Tips】
On free admission days, parking can be difficult. It's advisable to either arrive early or have someone patiently wait for a parking spot. The parking lot is quite large, and it's easy to get lost if it's your first time there.
