Chef Pedro Alaniz

Chef Pedro Alaniz was born in Jalisco Mexico, where he lived with his parents and eleven siblings. At the age of 15, Chef Pedro started his remarkable journey coming to the United States to California, at which at one point he lived in the mountains. He then began working in the vegetable fields in California in order to bring, raise and help educate his siblings

He

then got an opportunity to work as a dishwasher and night cleaner a the the Lodge at Pebble Beach California where he worked for the first three months working hard and long hrs on the grave yard shift so he could continue to go to school and learn English. Pedro then started working for Club X!X five star restaurant where he learned to cook under Bradly Jhones, worked at Cypress Pebble B*h where he learned his bakery and pastry skills under Ricardo Murillo and Alan Ortiz l a well world know pastry chefs. At the age of 23, Chef Pedro began his career as a pastry chef at the ocean Reef Club in Key Largo Florida,, an exclusive private club. Chef Pedro went on to work at Cheeca Lodge in Key Largo where the got the opportunity to cook for President George W. Bush at a fishing tournament being held at Cheeca Lodge in Isla Morada, Florida. Later Chef Pedro was invited to cook for President Bush at the White House. While at the Cheeca Lodge, Several cooking events were held there, such as Delta Airlines Seafood show where many famous chefs from around the world participated. Chef Pedro then moved to Boston MA where he worked at Chatham Bars Inn in Cape Cod. He also worked as a chef at the Prudential building for the Top of The Hub Restaurant in Boston. In 2000 Chef Pedro opened his own restaurant, The Beethoven 5th in Florida City, where he served a fusion of Mexican and European cuisine. Chef Pedro was then requested to work for the Intercontinental Hotel in Dubai in the Middle East. He then trained in Paris at the Cordon Blue, where he received an intense course in French cuisine. Chef Pedro also worked for the Beacon Room in Cape Cod, where he specialized in Mediterranean cuisine,

Upon his return to Florida, Chef Pedro worked for the Everglades Club in Palm B*h, Fl.. He also had the opportunity to work at the exclusive High Ridge Country Club in West Palm B*h Fl. Where he worked along side Eric Balboni. Chef Pedro then went on to work at Little Harbor Club in Harbor Spring Michigan. Chef Pedro opened up Puerto Vallarta Restaurant in Redlands, Miami Fl.. Chef Pedro is currently working at the exclusive five star restaurant Café L Europe in Palm B*h, Fl. ,where he prepares continental dishes to the many famous celebrities who reside in the area. Chef Pedro Alaniz currently appears at Univision on Despierta America where he demonstrates his many delicious recipes from around the world as well as educate the viewing audiences.chef Pedro host and produces two redio show Sabores del Mundo in Florida and Somos tu Mundo in Boston He also writes articles on food for Extra, El Migrante and Accion Newspapers, where Chef Pedro shares his recipes to the public around the world. Chef Pedro has also produced shows for Orale Con Veronica for Telemundo in Boston Ma. He has appeared in live two hour shows at Hola Florida in West Palm Beach Fl. Chef Pedro is currently producing his own shows which will eventually begin to air in English as well as in Spanish. He is currently working on writing his own recipe book which will be published by the end of the year. Chef Pedro Alaniz maintains a very busy life doing the the thing he loves with a passion. And that is cooking sharing his many recipes with his beloved public.Biography
