The world is getting crazier, just as scripture says that in the last days, there will be many false prophets coming out of the woodwork. Recently, a friend of mine, a pastor, introduced me to a disturbing church called "The Church of the Final Times" by exposing them on her page. This church manipulates people by taking tithes to "purchase a house in heaven," which is blasphemous.
A man named Andres De la Barra claims to be the cousin of Jesus and says Jesus died on the cross due to pride and seeking attention, refusing to let De la Barra save Him. This church spreads outrageous teachings, like telling husbands they cannot be intimate with their wives during pregnancy to avoid creating evil twins and claiming women with large chests are from the devil. Despite these absurd claims, their congregations are growing, with people donating thousands of dollars.
They also manipulate clips of other evangelists, falsely associating them with their cause. For example, they misuse a clip of Jesse Duplantis raising money for a jet, falsely claiming they are raising $54,000 for him. They even go as far as taking "sacrifices" of very light-skinned virgins, which is beyond belief.
This cult appears to be based in Colombia and has been active for some time, deceiving hundreds, if not thousands, of people. Remember, tithing is not the way to heaven—Jesus Christ is. Andres De la Barra is a false prophet, and his teachings are false. If you are involved with this group, stop immediately and repent. God does not need your money; giving should be an act of love and obedience to God, not a means for false prophets to enrich themselves.
They are all over YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok, blending scripture with their lies. They claim all other Christian churches are going to hell, asserting that only they have the true God and church, with Jesus supposedly surrendering His keys to De la Barra. This is madness.
The Bible warns us about false prophets:
- **Matthew 7:15**: "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves."
- **1 John 4:1**: "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world."
- **2 Peter 2:1-3**: "But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them, the way of truth will be blasphemed. And in their greed, they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep."
Stay vigilant and run from any cult that distorts the truth of God's word.
