This morning, Sheriff Abernathy proudly awarded Deputy Daniel Basinski with his 25-year service pin, recognizing a quarter-century of commitment to the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy Basinski has served Tuscaloosa County with honor and professionalism throughout his career. As a School Resource Officer at Hillcrest High School, he ensures the safety and well-being of students and staff. In his role as a Field Training Officer, he helped shape the next generation of deputies with his extensive knowledge and experience.

Congratulations, Deputy Basinski on this milestone achievement, and thank you for your 25 years of dedicated service!
