Coming October 10th!

We have a map show coming up Thursday, Oct. 10 at noon. The show features the history of the Electric Map, as well as the original 1963 map show of the battle of Gettysburg. The program also features a special Civil War era performance of Abraham Lincoln's favorite magic trick!
We are located at 22 Carlisle St. in Hanover; free parking on the side of the building. The map show lasts about an hour and is $10 per person. Cash or check only please, as we are not set up to take credit cards.
And please be aware there is a long flight of stairs to reach the map.

Congrats to the Hanover Area YMCA’s Academy of Early Learning for receiving an Every Child Has Opportunities (ECHO) Innovation Grant. ECHO is an early childhood education initiative that was introduced by leading organizations Community Connections for Children and York County Economic Alliance. The goal of ECHO is to improve access to high quality childcare for families of young children in York County, Pennsylvania. This grant will assist in funding a new literacy focused curriculum and outdoor classroom space.
