Happy Friday! Yep, that's how I've been feeling lately!
The word that comes to mind is Activation.
Here me out! Activation (ak-tə-ˈvā-shən) means the action or approach of making something active or functional.
You know there is something you've been planning, researching, strategizing on, now it's time for activation. Go for it and get it done!
If we think about the stages of change, the 3rd stage is preparation(you know the planning and researching you've been doing), then the 4th stage is action(yep activating the steps or plans).
To sum it up:
💜Get clarity on God concerning your plan
🤍Step out on faith
💜Give the action plan time to work
💜Continue to enjoy the process.

Happy Thursday! Yep, I'm right there with you, life gets hard! We tend to get discouraged when we don't see things happening the way we had hoped they would, envisioned/dreamed, or even planned for. It's in those moments we have to pause and look at the situation and ask ourselves some questions. What is it that you may need to change? Is it your thought pattern holding you captive? Are you trying to force something that was never meant for you or that you haven't prepared well for? Could it be where you tried to do it in your own strength and missed the opportunity to invite God in? Well, as you continue to journey on, I pray that you stay encouraged, a big part of that is picking up the word of God to get fed spiritually. HAPPY BLACK HISTORY MONTH! Because of Them I am!I don’t have the adequate words to describe the admiration, the pride, or even the pain I feel for all that suffered who came before me that fought for our freedoms, but I will say, I thank God for them. I will be forever grateful, and I will do all that I can to make sure that I am standing in the very best light upholding 1) God‘s truth and 2) All the sacrifices that my ancestors gave and left for me and my generation, and generations before and after me. SELF LOVEEE‼️Ok ok, I know! Life gets super busy as we go through our day to day with our schedules. It feels like by the end of the day you don’t feel like doing anything, which unfortunately at times is making time for some self love. But just like we have to plan everything else in our life, plan your time for engaging in self love too, put it on your schedule! AND THEN DO IT! Here are a few ways to engage in 5 minutes of self love. Be Well!💜 Enjoy nature. Become one with it. Breathe in slowly, intentionally. Enjoy the air on your skin and the calming effect it has on you.🤍Listen well. Close your eyes and take notice to what you hear around you. Careful not to judge what you hear but just becoming mindful of the sounds around you. Reflect on what you hear. 💜Self soothe through touch. Practice this by giving yourself a neck massage, rubbing your arms or shoulders softly, or running your fingers through your hair gently. --I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. It's important children see real representation from adults around them on honest expressions of emotions and feelings around grief. When adults, parents, caregivers express their own feelings, emotions, thoughts and provide support to children during these times it helps the child to develop healthy coping patterns and skills. When it comes to therapy there are some misconceptions around it. Some of those misconceptions include:💜"The therapist will fix me." (Truth: You are the expert of YOU! Your counselor's role is not to fix you, but to help you find your own answers/solutions, and help you to find the problems that you need to work through)🤍"I am weak and can't handle my own life." (Truth: Sometimes when our own ability has been deeply challenged, we need professional support, this shows how strong we really are)💜"Why waste time when I already have friends I can vent to." (Truth: Counselors provide an empathetic listening ear, and provide trained support that a friend may not can provide)🤍"I'm not crazy, I've got this." (Truth: You are not crazy, but this thought can be normal.
